St. John's University Increases Career Readiness & Alumni Engagement Through Mentorship
As a part of St. John’s dedication to building a culture of mentorship, they expanded their partnership with Mentor Collective to include a peer mentoring program for first-year students, called E.P.I.C. (Establish Relationships, Promote Possibilities, Impact Direction, Confirm Next Steps). In AY 2020-21, MC empowered the scale and operations of the E.P.I.C. program to build 400+ relationships between first-year students and upper-division students at St. John’s University.
“From the first year through graduation and becoming an alumni, I am fully invested in the importance and impact of meaningful mentoring relationships for St. John’s students. I believe mentorship is pivotal to the success of all groups of students, whether first-generation, transfer, international, commuter - and St. John’s will realize the longer-term impact through the success of our student’s persistence and graduation.”
